It is an honor to be partnering with parents, students and God. The foundation of Burton Academy is “For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Proverbs 2:6)
I believe the most important part of Christian education is presenting Jesus to students in a meaningful way for each student. Students ultimately decide to serve Christ or not. Students decide if they want to learn or not. In every classroom, teachers are challenging students to think, and to make decisions based on the wisdom that God has given them. Students need to be challenged intellectually, but yet feel protected emotionally and physically. Unconditional love for each student produces an environment where they can excel, not only in the classroom, but at recess or in Varsity sports.
I believe that each student must learn responsibility for their actions. Hard work and perseverance will produce good grades, a great trumpet player or a fantastic athlete. Burton Academy is producing students who are leaders who have the character to stand up for what is right and are committed to living a life in service to God.
Burton Academy has a committed staff, who are excellent teachers and mentors to their students. They have a passion for spreading God’s love and imparting to each student the knowledge they have in their subject area.
Your son or daughter is your most important possession. Thank you for partnering with us in their education.
