Burton Academy and V-Fit Martial Arts have teamed up to offer exciting Tae-Kwon-Do classes during and after school. Robert Visitacion was once the American Kickboxing champion and competed professionally for many years. Now he brings his talents and love of Martial Arts to his students at V-Fit.
Junior High and High School students can take his class as part of the required PE class during school. Everyone else takes his class as an after school activity from 3:30- 4:30 every Tuesday and Thursday.
Already we have many green belts in the class, which teaches more than just kicking and punching. Among other things, students learn about discipline, and respecting others, as well as how to defend themselves in dangerous situations.
Cost is $100 per month for the first child, and $65 per month for additional children.
V-Fit is also teaching an Adult Kickboxing and Fitness class at Burton Academy as well. The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm.
