Welcome to the Burton Adventist Academy Chaplain and Counseling page! I hope this site provides you access to resources, calendars and upcoming events which will help you navigate and enrich your educational experience at Burton.
Our spiritual theme for this exciting 2011-2012 school year is "FREE to SERVE." Scripture calls Christians to the life of service. Being the hands of feet of Jesus, service not only provides the giver with a sense of purpose, but increases faith, builds bridges and tears down walls. Most importantly it blesses the giver and the receiver.
In Galatians 5:13 Paul tells us we are free - free in Christ Jesus, however we are not to use our freedom to ignore others, but "rather, serve one another in love". Please join with our faculty and student body that we will let our freedom in Christ to demonstrate love in service to each other and within our communities. Ashley
